Classifieds

  • Church/Clergy-related items only. The purpose of this page is to provide a forum for the wider UCC community. Items advertised here are for sale, free, or may be "wish list" things (eg. choir robes, bibles, pianos, etc).
  • A written notice, including a description of your item(s) must be received at least one week prior to posting. A contact person along with the name of the church/organization, phone number and/or email must also be included in the notice.
  • All items will be posted for one month unless specified otherwise in your notice. If an item is no longer available, it is up to the contact person to notify the Conference Office to remove the ad.

Help Wanted

  • The NHCUCC Classifieds page will only advertise positions in our 138 local United Church of Christ congregations and only for support staff, musicians, etc. Those seeking authorized positions (pastors, ordained, commissioned, licensed, etc.) should utilize the United Church of Christ's Search and Call process.
  • Resumes of those seeking employment will not be posted. The New Hampshire Conference does not assume any responsibility for vetting applicants.

Music Director 

Stratham Community Church

Stratham Community Church, a progressive, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating congregation, is seeking a Music Director for its music programming. Responsibilities include directing, rehearsing, and accompanying the adult choir, working with the Pastor and the Music Committee in planning weekly music and performing appropriate musical selections and hymns during the weekly Sunday service.  Candidates should have sufficient musical training, including piano and organ proficiency, experience in leading church music, and the ability to work with others with a team spirit and good interpersonal skills.

Music Director/Choir Director/Accompanist

 The Congregational Church of Henniker is seeking a part-time (12-15 hours/week) inspirational, committed and creative Music Director to lead our church’s music ministry. Alternatively, we’re also open to job sharing for a Choir Director and Accompanist, too! If you are a exceptional pianist and/or a motivational leader who has the skills to oversee the administrative responsibilities of managing a music ministry, we offer a great work environment that’s flexible and fun. Sr. Choir Director and Praise Team Leader

We are seeking a Director for our Praise Team and Sr. Choir. This is a salaried P/T position requiring choral directing skills, organization and relational skills, plus an understanding of Christian ministry and music. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience directing a choir, proficient in piano playing, and preferably organ as well; familiarity with liturgical procedures and music. Amherst Congregational Church of Amherst, NH, have 50 solidly constructed stained and varnished chairs to give to a church or organization in need. They have served faithfully for many years. A donation would be thoughtful but not necessary.
