  • Church/Clergy-related items only. The purpose of this page is to provide a forum for the wider UCC community. Items advertised here are for sale, free, or may be "wish list" things (eg. choir robes, bibles, pianos, etc).
  • A written notice, including a description of your item(s) must be received at least one week prior to posting. A contact person along with the name of the church/organization, phone number and/or email must also be included in the notice.
  • All items will be posted for one month unless specified otherwise in your notice. If an item is no longer available, it is up to the contact person to notify the Conference Office to remove the ad.

Creative Church Musician - Farmington

The historic First Congregational Church of Farmington celebrates 200 years since its founding.  We are seeking to hire a creative church musician whose repertoire includes classical, traditional, and contemporary keyboard and choral literature.  12-voice choir rehearses Sunday at 8:30am and worship is at 10am. 

Salary is $150 per Sunday with additional possible at weddings, memorials, and concerts.

We have a two-manual Allen digital organ with chime, along with an Akai baby grand piano.

Part-Time Administrative Assistant - The Brookside Congregational Church, UCC in Manchester, NH

 

Primary Responsibilities: The Brookside Congregational Church, UCC in Manchester, NH is looking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant to work with our new Senior Pastor and enthusiastic staff of 6.
 
Our current Administrative Assistant is retiring after 23 years of service to our congregation. Our new Administrative Assistant would work M-F for approximately 3 hours per day and be responsible for producing the church’s digital and print publications (i.e. – Newsletter and Worship Service Bulletin – including proofreading), answering phones in the morning, updating church website, and other administrative and clerical duties.
 
If you have excellent oral and written communication skills, great interpersonal skills, are highly organized, have 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel) and Social Media (primarily Facebook and Instagram), can lift a box that weighs no more than 25 lbs. then please email your cover letter and resume to: Pastor@Brooksidecc.org

Grand Piano available for long-term loan

 

South Congregational Church, Concord, NH, would like to offer a grand piano to a good church home for the next ten years. On loan, will be a 6’5” mahogany glossy finish Samick piano with an attached Damp Chaser (humidity controller which will need to be tended to, but which helps the piano hold a tuning longer). The piano is tuned approximately 4 times/year, and is used regularly in worship. It has a very nice tone. The borrower will have to pay the cost of moving, and will be expected to keep piano in good tune and condition and the Damp Chaser watered (So. Church staff can easily train someone to do this).

Director of Music Ministry – Hampstead, NH

 

Primary Responsibilities: The Director of Music Ministry will be responsible for weekly Sunday morning worship service, special services through the year, selecting appropriate music to accompany the service, and direct weekly choir rehearsals. May also play for wedding and funerals on a fee basis.
